Dear Detective Horne

I've been using 4:30 pm because of the 5 hour difference and because I'm usually dealing with Cable and Wireless in the mornings. Cable and Wireless should have installed the ICAS and World Direct international calling services by Monday. This means that I will not be able to call you before Tuesday earlier than 4:30. What I need is a specific time. I do not propose to attempt to get you while you are "in and out of office all day". That is a certain recipe for additional delay - one that will only benefit the defendants, as I'm sure you are aware.

Subject to installation of my international dialing facilities by Tuesday, I propose  3:30 pm Tuesday January 20 for an appointment to speak with you. Please email to confirm the time. If you are unable to set an appointment to deal with this urgent matter, I suggest that you arrange for me to speak with another senior person who takes appointments.

In the meantime, I expect you to begin the discussion by email today.

Sincerely

Adrienne Gaye Thompson

Many many apologies, I quoted the wrong number. Please try 0044 207 230 0480. If you could try earlier than 4.30pm as I am in all morning and early afternoon, may thanks.

Dear Detective Horne

I dialed the number you gave me twice - 0044 207 230 6040 - at about 5:00pm London time today (12:00 here). Each time I got the Forensic Science Department. The person who answered the telephone confirmed that the above telephone number was the number reached, and that your Department was in a completely different building. You have clearly given me a wrong number, and it is evident that we are wasting time in a matter where the timing is crucial. Further delay will be of benefit only to the defendants.

Please advise me of the correct telephone number. I shall try again at 4:30pm your time until I do reach you. Until then, I insist that you begin the dialogue on the Criminal Complaint by email. If 4:30 in the afternoon is not convenient you may advise me of a more suitable time.

Sincerely

Dear Detective Horne

I've just spoken with Cable and Wireless. They still don't have their act together regarding the ICAS code. Cable and Wireless informed me that they never transfer ICAS codes between telephone numbers without authorization. The defendants appear to have established links with staff at Cable and Wireless with regard to the tapping of the lines and so on; I have no doubt that it is they who procured the transfer of the ICAS code from my 9240800 line to my 9696807 line which is now not in service.

I am going to attempt to place a call to your 0044 207 230 6040 number in 2.5 hours time (from another telephone). It is now  9:00 am here, so I'll be placing the call at 11:30 am which should be 4:30 pm your time. Please confirm that you will be available at 4:30 today.

Regards

URGENT

Dear Detective Horne

1. Telephone Contact

I received your last email message after I had emailed you this morning. My telephone number is 876.924.0800. This is my home number, the number in the letterhead of my covering letter to Mr. Ghaffur, and the number below my signature in all my emails. If anyone has suggested to you that this telephone number is not a direct line, then there is a good chance that the defendants and their agents are aready interfering with your investigation. You may call me anytime at your convenience - I am usually in.

I am also lobbying Cable and Wireless about my ICAS international dialing facility, and will email regarding an appointment to speak with you if you don't call me first. I trust that processing of my Criminal Complaint is underway. There is no reason why the telephone communication should cause a delay.

2. Email Attachments

I emailed an electronic copy of the Criminal Complaint (all six messages) to commissioner@met.police.uk for your convenience. It is, for example, much easier to distribute and search for information using digital files. I only received read receipts for parts 1 and 3, so I'll be emailing the remaining files again.

Your systems personnel at Scotland Yard will advise you on how to open the file. You will need a Zip program in order to open the attached Zip files. If you do not already have a Zip program on your computer, you may download a free evaluation version of WinZip, available at http://www.winzip.com/. If you are using an email program like Microsoft Outlook, you may need to first click on the forward button (as if you were forwarding the message) before being able to see the attachment. Then double click on the Zip file, and WinZip (or whatever zip program you may be using) will open the attachment for you.

URGENT, PRIVATE and CONFIDENTIAL

For the Express Attention of:

Mr. Tarique Ghaffur

Assistant Commissioner

Metropolitan Police

Please forward this email message directly to Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Tarique Ghaffur.

The attached zip file "Criminal Complaint part 1 .zip" is part 1 of an electronic copy of  my Criminal Complaint delivered to the Metropolitan Police at 11:00am today by Federal Express - AirBill Number 8425 0950 2429. A copy of the FedEx tracking results is displayed below.

The Complaint includes 13 exhibits (A through M) and 2 attachments. The Complaint itself "Criminal Complaint.doc" is in the root directory of the attached file; Exhibits and Attachments are stored as sub-directories. It was not practical to include (today) images of the CRE documents under Exhibit D, and Exhibits K4, M1, and M2 in the electronic copy; Scotland Yard will no doubt obtain the CRE documents directly from CRE headquarters. I shall be sending the Criminal Complaint in 6 messages.
